I am selling my 2006 Cobalt 262. It has approx 485 hours and is in very good condition. It has been well maintained and runs flawlessly. This is an awesome, spacious boat that handles very smoothly on the water. It has nearly every option including a tandem axle trailer, OEM extended platform, trim tabs, stainless steel arch with bimini, upgraded stereo, transom remote, battery charger, and the 8.1 L Volvo Penta with duo props. I just spent almost $2k on the trailer including new brakes in order to ensure everything is safe and in top working condition. I will also tell you that you don’t want this Cobalt or any other without the extended swim platform. It is awesome!
I take pride in ownership and want to be fully up front, so here goes. The hull is in very good condition with only a couple small scratches. The upholstery is in great shape overall aside from some separation in the back rests in the bow. The only thing that does not work is the speedometer, as a tiny piece of wood worked its way in the intake and clogged the line. It is an easy fix, but I have not taken the time to have it fixed since it recently happened.
I am selling it due to the fact that I want to get back in the cabin cruiser game. It is paid for, and I have the boat and trailer titles in hand. I am not in a hurry to sell, so please do not waste my time with lowball offers. I am asking $39,000 or best offer.
