1974 Cobalt Ski Boat – 19’ Classic Custom Deep V Hull w/ 225 HP Chev 350 rebuilt engine with electronic ignition and Mercruiser Outdrive. Beautiful all original Teakwood throughout, walk-thru electric windshield to Bow Deck w/ Teak battens and rails, Teak boarding steps mounted to transom with wrap over stainless steel stern rails. New Upholstery Burgundy and Cream with large fully tufted bucket styled seats that adjust to 4 positions including lounge and sleeper, new carpet. I have original dealer invoice, sticker and documents with color sales flyers and Specs and all original owners manuals. Electronic ignition, hydraulic trim tabs, needs a little TLC, great restoration project to finish for nostalgic or antique ski boat enthusiast, runs good.
Additional Information on Condition:
I probably have about 6000 documented in it over the years as a near complete restoration project with all the improvements I described , complete with new interior. TLC refers to a good hand buff job on exterior, I never did that but can get it done for 3 or 400 with a good 3M product to restore old gel coats. Just put in new plastic fuel tank. I have a good used back up lower unit for out drive that needs to be rebuilt as a spare. Stainless prop needs to be cut and balanced. Original trailer is good heavy duty with new dual axles. Tires are good. Trailer needs sand blasting, prime and paint to your color choice. It is a cool classic boat just needs somebody to finish restoration. I still have all the original paperwork including dealer sticker.
