I know you are looking for a 227 but i have a 246, similar layout a little bigger and has a head (porta pottie). Its a fresh water boat with only 190 hours
Don’t forget to consider a Cobalt 253. Most versions should sell for less than 30K with trailer these days.

I have a 2000 227 with 145hrs on it, 502cid Mercruiser w/a bravo 3 2:1 outdrive (Lake Tahoe build boat), new bimini, extended deck added last year, trailer, captains call thru hull exhaust,up graded custom stereo w/a massive sub-woofer and infinity speakers, 3 batteries, rosewood package, electric rear hatch,table,fill in cushions for cuddy and back deck, dual longe chiars in the cuddy (thats correct no sink/stove) porta potti with pump out (someone tried to use it once but I threw then overboard!!), getting full service in spring of 11, inside/outside detail,trailer service and new tires. Price will be between 25 and 30k. Other options on boat that I cant even remember, boat winterized every year and started once a month in my driveway during the summer. This thing will do 70mph and if you take out the 100lb subwoofer box and extra battery, replace the downpitched Tahoe props, probably more. Service records and original purchase document available.
