This is quite a rare find with only 300 hours on her! James Kimberly told us he just bought this beauty that has a perfect Salmon interior. Born in 1987, this boat will be winterized and James, of Amherst, NH, welcomes any and all tips for her!

My brother and i purchased a 1986 version of the same boat. It has a 6 cycl, 2 barrel carb, but it runs extremely well. The only complaint or concern one may have with this, is it’s narrow beam width. It can cause for some intersting rides, when the passengar(s) decide to move about. Especially while underway. it will lean towards the side in which has the most weight, very quickly! We corrected this probelm right away with a set of trim tabs. not only did it fix this problem, but it also added to a quicker plane time and lower speeds while on plane. this is a big little boat and it provides a great ride, even in rough water.
Thanks for the tip on tippiness! I have yet to have her out on NH waters this spring due to a ignition module issue (I hope). Runs great at high rpms but it is not idling well, won’t stay timed…. Compression tests all were good on the 175 v-6 2bbl, replaced the dist. cap, spark plug wires, plugs, rotor but still running rough. I have a mErcruiser Master tech working on it and we hope that the ignition module fixes it….
Any input on a good replacement CD player for the glove box installation?
