2011 Cobalt 296 – HOT!

These are a few more shots of Bob Jacobson’s new Cobalt 296.  We will be putting it into Canandagua Lake in another 8 weeks.  We took delivery during the Boat Show in Rochester NY.  We let our dealer display it in his booth!  My family and I are shown with Peter and Rick German, on the left and right side in the picture.

Cobalt’s New Cobalt 296

Wow, I’ve gotta stop working so much!  Cobalt announced the release of their new Cobalt 296 on December 1, 2008 and here at MyCobalt.net, we completely missed it.  For those of you watching us closely, don’t hesitate to reach out on editor@mycoabalt.net or on Twitter @MeetKendall.  This baby is available with either single or twin engines!  May I suggest two for ease of docking…and power!

Cobalt says, “Now the next generation of innovation and styling is the bold new 296 which brings sophisticated “out-door” living to boating. It features “furniture style modules” and pillow back seating for those seeking the ultimate in a refined boating experience. It is available with single or twin engines. Because of the superior hull design, it performs like a rocket even with a single engine. Of course even higher performance is available with twin engine options. The spacious head is well appointed. In the bow area you will be surprised at the vast seating and efficient use of space. The captain of the 296 will be wrapped in an ergonomically pleasing helm with superb forward visibility. New digital gauges provide accurate data and long-term reliability. Options you will want to consider to further set the 296 apart from the rest of the crowd is teak on the bow and floor, remote control courtesy lighting and the innovative retractable dock lines. Eexperience for yourself the next generation of boating, “out door living boating!”
